Mountains of Formation

Mountains of Formation

In Scripture, God often meets men in the wilderness. Abraham, Moses, Elijah, John the Baptist, and even Jesus himself encountered solitude, silence, struggle, and transformation in lonely places. Again and again, God used the wilderness to shape depth, clarity, dependence, and faith. This summer, we’ll walk through what I'm calling "Mountains of Formation", exploring the wilderness encounters throughout Scripture and discovering how God still forms men today. Together, we’ll share lunch and a midday reset centered around Scripture, honest conversation, prayer, and real brotherhood for men trying to follow Jesus faithfully. This group is an invitation this summer to slow down, reconnect with God, and walk alongside other men pursuing depth and faithfulness. We’ll meet weekly on Thursdays throughout the summer, while also allowing some flexibility for travel and summer schedules along the way. Throughout the week, including any off weeks, we’ll stay connected through the Quiet Mastery men's app with Scripture reflections, conversation, prayer, and encouragement as we continue the work of spiritual formation together beyond our Thursday gatherings!
